Dear Praying Community,
Thank you for joining with us in this work. We know your faithfulness in lifting up our family, the needs of the community we’re in and this nation make a difference!
Here are some ways we would appreciate your partnership this month.
PRAY FOR:
PRAY for a number of permits and paperwork the school is waiting on and working through. The red tape we face in this country can be very daunting and as a Christian NGO we often feel vulnerable & exposed to prejudice and discrimination. Pray for favour with the local authorities and government for the routine needs we face as a school.
PRAY for Chhattisgarh. This region was recently highlighted to us when a group of pastors travelled all the way to our neighbourhood for some much needed training and encouragement. It is illegal to speak Good News where they are from. We heard stories of beatings, imprisonment and other persecution. May the Lord be close to His followers in this region.
PRAY for good rest this month as we have a break from October 19th to 27th. Drama Festival is in full swing now, staff & students are feeling the crunch of the end of term. May we all be filled with the Spirit and His fruit in these final weeks of term.
PRAISE FOR:
PRAISE for the arrival of a new 3D laser cutter in the Design & Tech Department. A generous donor helped make this possible. Joshua is busy dreaming up the endless ways this will enrich the curriculum in his classes.
PRAISE for safety around campus. A few incidents with some silly boys in the Dorms this past week have made us so thankful for God’s protection over the community. May these boys never forget the lessons learned in hard ways. We thank God for protecting them while they momentarily left common sense behind.
PRAISE for continued healthy attendance at Alt Service these past weeks for our seekers and skeptics.
PRAISE for plans underway to have family come visit over Christmas. We are so excited to share this season of life with loved ones!
