Elders
WBC is lead by a plurality of Elders. The Elders are chosen based on the qualities listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The Elders are responsible for the overall health and ministries of the church (Acts 20:17-38 and 1 Peter 5:1-11).

Andreas comes from an international family. He is British and Swiss (to most people's surprise), but spent most of his life growing up in Germany. He also spent over 5 years living on a ship in various parts of the world, which is where he met his wife Val, a Canadian. In 2013 Andreas and Val moved from Germany to Canada. They currently live in Elmira with their three children Joshua, Nathan and Abigail.
After 7 years of working as a project manager for an automation company, Andreas felt called to join WBC full-time in 2020, where he is able to use his gifts of leadership and administration in his role as managing pastor.
Andreas loves good food, soccer (which he calls football) and witty humor. He likes to start his day with a cup of tea, calm music and the Bible.

Matt is excited to be a part of what God is doing at WBC. He believes there is no greater joy and no greater purpose than to simply serve the Lord wherever He leads. This belief has led him into ministry at WBC, as well as at Foundation Christian School where he serves as Headmaster. He has been involved in work and ministry in Ecuador and India, both places he and his wife Bethany love. Matt and Beth have three children, and live in Drayton. Besides living his boyhood dream of calling snow days and getting paid to go out for recess, Matt enjoys the great outdoors, watching baseball, and witnessing baptisms.
