Global Missions

Why Global Missions?

Global Missions is the calling to spread the message of Jesus Christ across cultures and nations, proclaiming the good news of salvation to all people. As a global church, we share the gospel so that people will find and follow Jesus.

Rooted in Jesus' command to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matt 28:19), missions reflects God's heart for the world—desiring that every person comes to know His love, grace, and truth.

In response to the Great Commission, we want to continue to be engaged in God’s global mission as a local congregation. Our desire at WBC is to partner with individuals who are committed to our church family and who feel called to short- or long-term missions. As we teach on this and raise the church's awareness for missions, we are trusting God to raise up new missionaries from within our midst.

I am interested in missions

I am interested in missions in general and want to learn more.

I would like to partner with WBC on a specific mission opportunity.

"We affirm that Christ sends his redeemed people into the world as the Father sent him, and that this calls for a similar deep and costly penetration of the world.[...] World evangelization requires the whole Church to take the
whole gospel to the whole world."
