Honduras Bound!!
We are excited to let you know that our family is planning to go on a mission trip to Honduras for about 10-12 days in mid-February! Honduras is a developing nation and many people do not have access to healthcare or education. We will be partnering with a local Christian school and medical clinic to offer medical care, educational lessons, fluoride treatments and more. We also plan to do a couple of maintenance/construction projects and we plan to work with local Christians/churches to share the gospel.
Could you pray for us? Here are some prayer requests.
For wisdom to work within our capacity. We have a good problem of more interested students than we and our local partners have capacity for! We have room for 25-30 students, plus staff and kids!
For good communication and teamwork with our local partners
For flights at reasonable, good or great prices!
For safe and smooth travel
For a good experience for our 2 kids and 2 other kids who might be coming as well (all girls!)
For good sleep, strength and health
Support Update
We are so thankful for how God provides and for many of you who faithfully give. Currently, we are at 90% of our monthly support needs. We are in a good position, but have lost some monthly supporters in the last couple of years due to various life circumstances. In terms of one-time support, we have raised $2,500 of the $10,000 we need to go to Honduras as a family.
