MARTIN, RUSS & MEREDITH (Singapore; Power to Change / Lausanne Movement) PRAISE: That we returned safely to Singapore and settled into our new flat. For effective team meetings in Singapore Aug 8-11. For 70 champions who have volunteered to host our #HACK event in October in 35+ countries. PRAY: For the church plant we are a part of as weekly services are launched on September 4. For opportunities to re-connect with spiritually curious friends N and I. For Meredith as she struggles with various health issues and skin irritations.

MARTIN, ROBERT & SUSAN (Kingston, ON; Kingston Prison Ministry; MSC) PRAISE: We are praising God that access to institutions has started in July and is slowly opening up in all institutions. We are into 5 of the 6 in the Kingston region. B and G who both are lifers, were granted day parole two weeks ago. Very thankful also to the Lord for the precious gift of our 8th grandchild. Baby Elizabeth Ann arrived August 17th, first child for our son Ben and his wife Alicia. PRAY: Pray for favor with the chaplains and adaptability to new scheduling as we regain access to each institution. K who was in a halfway house did not return at his curfew time. This was uncharacteristic of him and so very surprising. Pray that he does not ignore the Lord Jesus and continue a path of unrighteousness.

MARTIN, GORD & HEATHER (Waterloo, ON; Vision Ministries) PRAISE: Still prepping for teaching in Kenya in October. Indy's health is improving - gradually. Needs a "hard to get" exit permit from India - not easy in his circumstances. We are planning a civil rights tour holiday next month in Georgia and Alabama. Lots of travel details.

J&R (South Asia; Frontiers) PRAISE: Praise the Lord we have settled in well to our new environment and responsibilities. This has been our smoothest transition as a family we've ever experienced. We're so thankful for all the support and the godly community we get to serve alongside. The boys have all settled in very well. PRAY: Pray for wisdom, patience, and endurance as we both learn new roles & tasks. Pray that we would be a blessing to both the staff & students and have discernment in how to spend our time amidst the many opportunities.

FREY, LES & SHARON (Elmira, ON; Local Church) PRAISE: Wonderful and meaningful family times in Spain with all 20 present bonding and getting acquainted. Ministry in the church we helped start. Great visit with Mike (newly saved) and Melissa from BC. PRAY: Mexican Bible study in Listowel on Thursdays is going well. Three Seniors studies begin this month every other week at Chartwell in Elmira, Valley View St Jacob’s and WBC. Speaking Sept 4 at WBC, Sept 18 at a Spanish church, Sept 25 Forest Chapel.
