Celebrating God’s Work

Indigitous at Lausanne and #HACK2024. 7,659 people activated to use digital strategies for God's Kingdom

Dear WBC Friends,

Your prayer and financial partnership enables our leadership of the Indigitous network, which helps followers of Jesus bring the gospel to new people, places, and spaces in a digitally connected world.

Last year as a network, we had two significant opportunities to serve followers of Jesus from all around the world.

Lausanne Congress

Our team made this three-minute video to capture the impact of our network showing up to serve the 5,394 onsite participants and the 1,152 through the Congress Virtual Experience (VX).

This was a tremendous platform for the personal contribution of many talented individuals to serve with their technical and creative skills, as well as a life-defining connection point for participants to the larger body of Christ, given leaders from 200 countries were present.

#HACK2024

In November, we also facilitated #HACK2024, a global hackathon for missions. Participants gathered to build innovative prototypes like chatbots, social media campaigns, and creative video content—all centered on helping those who don't yet follow Jesus encounter His life-changing message.

It's so neat to see thousands of participants from around the world united to create innovative solutions to real-world ministry challenges. The projects birthed during this event are already making a tangible difference, helping ministries more effectively share the love of Christ.
