Ray & Carol - March 2022

JONES, RAY & CAROL (Guelph, ON; Itinerant Preaching/Teaching Ministry) PRAISE: We're thankful that Carol is progressing from her appendectomy and fall- albeit slowly. Committing To Faithful Men is set for March 26 and it looks as though we will have the 'all clear' for all of the summer events, Lord willing! Praise for another winter of ministry and safety in travel. PRAY: For Carol's continued progress and recovery; this has been, and is, a long hard struggle for her. Please pray much for all the Christian camps this summer. We have all lost a lot of ground over the past two year, not just financially but with the continuity of workers and campers. Please pray for Committing To Faithful Men planned for March 26. This time we are concentrating on developing preachers and teachers! There is a real need for young men to begin to get into the pulpit ministry in their own assembly and in others. Besides all the Sunday ministry and other opportunities to serve the Lord, I seem to have an increasing list of men who want individual help. I am happy with this, of course, but it can be a bit tiring.

Les & Sharon - March 2022

FREY, LES & SHARON (Elmira, ON; Local Church)  PRAISE:  Sharon and I are thankful for the financial and prayer support we receive and continue to minister as the Lord gives open doors.  PRAY:  For the online Spanish students Les coaches. For the Pastoral care team we are on at WBC. The seniors group every other Wednesday. Marriage mentor expansion at WBC. Our daughter Elena raising four children as a single mom while working full time at Emmaus International.

Esther Frey - March 2022

FREY, ESTHER (Puerto Rico; Emmaus Correspondence) PRAISE: Saturday, February 26, 30 people went door to door evangelizing in our chapel area for a few hours. Sunday a young man came to the service. They also offered Emmaus promotion. We will begin a 5 week series for children March 11. Also our seniors will be meeting March 18. My eye condition is stable but I need to continue injections every 3 months. Brian has eased the burden of the office work for me, allowing me to get some needed paperwork out of the way. PRAY: Our activities this month. The evangelistic group that helped at our chapel will do the same in the city of Caguas March 12. Word of Life missionary Ramon Ibanez is having a team of Americans coming for two weeks to do various projects. Pray that the chapel repairs will get started.

Jenn Brubacher - March 2022

BRUBACHER, JENN (Listowel, YFC) PRAISE: This month we increased our capacity at drop-in from offering one night a week to two. I’m really thankful to be back in high school coaching volleyball! Our season will wrap up before March break. I have an exciting training opportunity; please pray for wisdom as I undergo the application process. PRAY: For deep healing in the lives of our students who attend drop-in, especially as they navigate friendships with one another. For God to open more doors for me to continue to serve at the high school in the spring.

Phil & Andrea - March 2022

BAUMAN, PHIL & ANDREA (Canada, International roles with SIM) PRAISE: For great opportunities to listen to and work with colleagues in Germany, Switzerland, France and Kenya. For safe travel, despite weather disruptions that meant Andrea could not come to Kenya. That Phil and the opportunity to be present in-person with our global Board of Governors meetings. PRAY: For the many Christians in Russia and Ukraine (including partner ministries) deeply impacted by the current conflict. For wisdom to follow up on the various aspects of the many conversations during the course of this trip. For our Kenya team as they navigate the transition process to a new Director following the death of their previous Director. For Cara searching for a co-op job. For Liam looking for a job after graduation.
