I was talking with Ishmael (Vision Ministries Kenya) yesterday about a women's conference they held in a rural area last week. He was pumped! It was not only women in attendance. They had a general session for everyone, then they split into groups for women, youth and men. Then they re gathered for a general session and revival meeting, followed by dinner followed by an evening revival meeting. The evening sessions were open to the whole community. About 700 attended each evening. Ishmael said that there were miracles every day. They were running out of food for this large group, because they were feeding the whole community. They prayed, and God heard our prayer. He moved one of the people in the community to provide a cow, then a second person provided a cow! Then he checked his bank account and discovered that a friend of his in Germany had sent 1500 euros! At the end of the week they had a baptism for 48 people. He said everyone was on their knees and crying.
We are in the middle of preparation for a training of trainers session to take place in October. The plan is to bring three or four people from each of the five regions to Nairobi for a week of intensive training. After the week in Nairobi, each person is to teach what they have learned to three or four people in their region. I am in the middle of putting the curriculum together for that. I would very much appreciate your prayer support as I am in the middle of preparation.
