BRUBACHER, JENN (Listowel, YFC) PRAISE: I’m thankful for the smooth transition from lockdown to face-to-face ministry. North Perth hosted The Coldest Night of the Year for the first time in 2021 and raised 233% of their goal. Continue to pray for all the community partners as we follow Jesus in addressing homelessness and housing insecurity in our community. PRAY: Over the last few years, our community has walked through a number of teen deaths. This month we think and pray for the Long family, who lost their daughter & sister, a grade 9 student, a year ago. For some students, the absence of school has elevated an incredible amount of anxiety. For others, the absence from school increases their anxieties and alienation, and reinforces their learning disabilities and struggles; pray for staff and students as they readjust to school life. Please pray for our drop-in staff & volunteer team as we reopen; the amount and depth of crisis happening in students’ lives is astronomical. We need God’s wisdom in every conversation.
