MARTIN, CHARLOTTE (Guelph, ON; Power to Change) PRAISE: My two trips to BC in March had some travel delays, but both went well. I enjoyed training, time to be in-person with colleagues, mild weather and getting to see the new P2C head office. I'm thankful for my two teammates who are overseeing mission trip logistics, they are working hard to get details in place for our 4 trips. Our Vietnam partnership director had a profitable trip to Vietnam in March. PRAY: For the 50ish staff and students preparing to go on mission trips in May. Pray for God to provide finances. Pray for God to prepare the hearts of the participants, and pray for opportunities to share the gospel meaningfully. For my team as we take the next month to make plans for global missions for the next school year.
J&R K - South Asia - April 2023
J&R (South Asia; Frontiers) PRAISE: Praise the Lord for continued open doors with the Ladies study groups. Pray especially for two sister-in-law widows struggling with health issues. This month we welcome parents on campus as well as enjoy a week off for mid-term break. Pray for stamina as J & I are very involved with the musical production. Pray too for good rest. Lift up the school as we look for teachers to fill open positions for next year. May God bring the right people along. Praise for some key positions already being filled.

FREY, LES & SHARON (Elmira, ON; Local Church) PRAISE: For good health and opportunities for preaching in Spanish and English, Bible studies and personal visiting and mentoring. PRAY: 50 seniors in four groups who are attending studies. Marriage mentoring and pastoral care visitation. Les speaks 4 Sundays in April.
Esther Frey - April 2023
FREY, ESTHER (Puerto Rico; Emmaus Correspondence) PRAISE: PRAISE: The Canadians were able to finish painting the auditorium. They had a lot of preparation to do before painting. Praise the Lord for good health and a willing spirit to do everything they accomplished. Another inmate finished the 90 courses we have. Also a former inmate called to say he has been released from prison after 25 years. I met him in 2017. He had finished the 90 courses while in prison. March 24 we began our seniors monthly meetings . A former Sunday School girl came Sunday morning with her baby and said she wants to come back. Pray for Jennifer and husband. PRAY: April 7 I will be meeting with the Hiawassa, Florida ladies group via zoom. I'm waiting for a date to begin leg treatments. April 3 I receive my next monthly eye injection. Brian has been very busy with his school work and music so has not been able to do much in the Emmaus office. Keep him in your prayers. We will have some special meetings at Easter time. Our ladies are meeting monthly for a Bible study on Proverbs.

BAUMAN, PHIL & ANDREA (Canada, International roles with SIM) PRAISE: For a productive time Phil had facilitating planning with a new team. Good visit with colleagues from the Middle East on home assignment. For three couples exploring ministry in the Middle East. PRAY: For our travels this month as we meet Andrea's Middle East team, a major European partner organisation as well as spend time in person with Phil's executive team colleagues. We are trusting God for good connections with people and uneventful travel.
