MARTIN, RUSS & MEREDITH (Singapore; Power to Change / Lausanne Movement) PRAISE: Effective planning meetings in the US that Russ was a part of. Meredith surprised her Mom with a visit for a milestone birthday. Improvement in Meredith and Heath's skin ailments. PRAY: We are still waiting for our work pass approval and have ~30 days until our current passes expire. For wisdom in whether to add K to our team and where they should be located. For Russ as he begins to lead an expanded team with increased responsibilities. For effective spiritual conversations with our neighbors during the holiday season especially (N, J, V, CS).

MARTIN, ROBERT & SUSAN (Kingston, ON; Kingston Prison Ministry; MSC) PRAISE: We have 3 men from the halfway house attending a weekly Bible study and fellowship time at our church. PRAY: Today I mailed out 85 Christmas cards with personal letters and notes, pray that men in prison would not block Christmas because of the pain of separation from family. P called me from the chaplain’s office heartbroken that his wife is having an affair with a mutual friend who was released 8 months ago. Pray that God would show Himself strong to all and He would be glorified.

MARTIN, GORD & HEATHER (Waterloo, ON; Vision Ministries) PRAISE/PRAY: Please keep praying for Indy’s health and safety in Burma. The last time we spoke I could hear the sound of heavy gunfire and bombs in the background. Ishmael from Vision Ministries Kenya told me the other day that he and several others had the opportunity recently to present the Gospel and Christian hope to a very remote tribal group. He was so excited about this opportunity! We are looking for worship space for two Persian churches. One is the Spirit of Truth church in Toronto, we are very close to having excellent space for them! We are also looking for space for a Persian church plant in Ottawa, we have a possibility.

MARTIN, CHARLOTTE (Guelph, ON; Power to Change) PRAISE: I enjoyed the opportunity to be in Halifax for in-person national team meetings in early November. My international trip to visit our team in Desert Rain went smoothly. It was great to travel with colleagues I hadn't seen in 2 years. We had some encouraging conversations with the team in DR and we got to meet some local believers we are partnering with in DR. We have directors for all of our 2022 mission trips. PRAY: Continue to pray that we could have in-person 2022 mission trips and that the 3 international destinations would be open for us to come. Pray for wisdom and flexibility as we plan toward these 3 trips and 3 canadian mission trips. Pray that it would be possible for us to send a care trip in January to our East Asia team. Pray for me as I wrap up seminary class assignments in December and take a bit of time off over Christmas.

FREY, LES & SHARON (Elmira, ON; Local Church) PRAISE: We have tested negative after going through Covid and its quarantine. We are thankful we could fight it from home. Thanks to all who prayed and gave us their encouragement and best wishes. PRAY: Please pray for a complete recovery of strength in these days as we still deal with coughs. Les has several commitments for carol playing this month and our regular December senior activity if all goes well and health permits.
