PRAISE: Terry continues to recover from emergency surgery on January 1. Zack has moved into the Camp Director role. We have launched our fundraising goals for 2020 to raise money for our septic bed/pavilion project. As we approach our 50th anniversary, we would love to have these funds/projects in place to show in our 50th year. Tim has completed renovations to manor basement and boy’s showers. PRAY: Terry continues to recover, with a follow up surgery scheduled for the end of February. Tim has begun to search for the transition to a new job, and a place they can live in Elmira area. Registration opens Family Day, February 17 at 9:00 am. Our hope is for a full summer season, with room this summer for 300 children per session. CIT interviews are in February, with staff hiring the end of month - we need wisdom in some of these difficult decisions with these fantastic young people.

PRAISE: For Trevor being able to return to work full-time again and accepting an operational strategies role; for a good first two weeks of Alpha at the University of Waterloo. PRAY: For God to work as this is the first time we are running the Alpha course at the University of Waterloo; for a "Speed Friending" outreach at Conestoga College on February 18 in response to a lot of loneliness on campus; for Hannah giving a talk at U of W on January 31 about Worshipping God in Everything
Russ & Meredith - February 2020
PRAISE: We are enjoying our new flat and many new relationships with neighbors and their young children; for very effective meeting of 15 different ministries collaborating on Tokyo 2020 Olympic outreaches; that Gwenyth and Meredith are experiencing better back health as a result of good chiropractic care. PRAY: For wisdom in guiding our son Wyatt who is struggling (mostly with his attitude) about a recent change to Mandarin immersion to keep him challenged at school; for a suitable venue for the #DigitalMissions Summit in Singapore in August; for good outreach opportunities with all the new families we are meeting at our condo.
Gord & Heather - February 2020
PRAISE: We are very grateful for God’s favor on our relationship with our grandson Noah. In May it will be 5 years since his father/our son Kent passed away. He is now in university and doing well by God’s grace. PRAY: God willing, I am planning a weekend with church leaders in Ottawa, February 14-16, mostly from immigrant churches, 2 weeks to Myanmar/Burma in March and 2.5 weeks to Ethiopia and Kenya in May. In every case, this is about encouraging, mentoring and teaching church leaders. Please pray for me for as I prepare, present and interact with people at every step of the way. I would like to be like Him in every interaction. And for safety too!

PRAISE: Safe trip to and from Iowa and God's help in being there for our daughter Elena and her four children. Seniors studies are going well. The Dyck family who lost their mother to cancer are showing signs of coping better and interested in attending WBC. PRAY: Les speaks February 2 and 9 at Spanish church. Pastoral care and marriage mentoring and Seniors Bible studies.
